Grace Morgan

Theatre Maker

Grace Morgan is a Dublin based Theatre Maker and Director. She graduated from English and Drama in Trinity College in 2018 with First Class Honours.  Her interests lie in making experimental, contemporary new work that draws inspiration from a variety of artistic disciplines. She usually works in a collaborative devised way but frequently directs new writing.

Grace recently co - founded, tasteinyourmouth, a new theatre collective with collaborators Laoise Murray and William Dunleavy. She directed their debut production, b(l)oom, for a sold out run in The New Theatre in January 2020.

As a Theatre Maker and director, Grace’s recent credits include: WHERE ARE YOU FROM? written by Choy - Ping Clarke - Ng (co - director with Choy - Ping Clarke - Ng as part of The Young Curator’s Festival, The Peacock Theatre, August 2019) and After your Ass as part of Corcadorca’s SHOW 2018 (a tasteinyourmouth production). Grace also directed Sun Bear written by Sarah Richardson (Smock Allies: Scene and Heard) and Waterford Crystal (presented by OXBO Theatre and written by Lisa Nally as part Smock Allies: Scene and Heard, 2019),

Grace has worked as Assistant Director to Gavin Quinn for Pan Pan’s production of Samuel Beckett’s Endgame (Project Arts Centre, December 2019), Bush Moukarzel for Dead Centre's production Hamnet in the Brooklyn Academy of Music, New York (October 2019) and Dylan Tighe on Pasolini’s Salo Redubbed (A Dylan Tighe and Abbey Theatre Co - Production for Dublin Theatre Festival, 2019). Grace will work as Assistant Director to Gavin Quinn on Pan Pan’s National Tour of ELIZA’s Adventures in the Uncanny Valley in May 2020.

Grace was a Gap Day Artist for 2019 and was also a recipient of a Creative Ireland Bursary award in 2019.

Grace also has experience as a stage manager, producer and performer.

Hysterically Shopping! to some sort of end (a new opera work in progress with tasteinyourmouth,

Glasshouse Ensemble and composer, Aran O’Grady),

MESPIL IN THE DARK LIVE (co-director, Pan Pan),

You’re Needy (sounds frustrating), Camden People’s Theatre,

Narcissus (Dublin Fringe, Chiswick Playhouse)

WHERE ARE YOU FROM? (co-director, The Peacock Theatre written by Choy-Ping Clarke-Ng).
