'Register of Pledges' Exhibition: Over a Decade of Solidarity and Belonging

The Irish Red Cross invites you to visit Register of Pledges: Over a Decade of Solidarity and Belonging, a powerful photo exhibition celebrating more than ten years of welcome, solidarity and community across Ireland.

Over a ten years ago, as conflict and displacement reshaped lives around the world, Ireland launched the Irish Refugee Protection Programme. Alongside it, the Irish Red Cross established the Register of Pledges, a simple idea that grew into a nationwide movement of welcome.

Since 2015, thousands of people seeking safety have been supported through the generosity of people who opened their doors and helped create a sense of belonging. Through photographs and personal stories, the exhibition reflects on the journey of the Register of Pledges, highlighting the thousands of individuals, families and communities who opened their doors to people seeking safety and helped create a sense of belonging.
