A 3 Day Workshop With Artist Nina Ruminska

Join Artist Nina Ruminska for this exciting three-day course, where you will get the opportunity to paint a model (clothed) from life.

Nina will guide you through all of the important aspects of full figure portrait painting. During the workshop, we will explore subjects like:

The importance of composition in conveying mood and atmosphere in a painting,
Preparatory work including colour sketches, line drawing and monochromatic underpainting on canvas,
Colour mixing to achieve realistic, natural looking skin tones,
Anatomy and how to construct a proportionate figure,
Developing features of the face,
How to capture the unique characteristics and emotions of the sitter.

You will learn how to work in an organised manner and eventually bring the portrait to completion.

This course is a great opportunity to build a firm foundation in portrait painting, allowing you to produce compelling and expressive portraits.

If you request to reschedule less than 21 days before the workshop starting date we will not be in a position to change the date.
